Looks like a lot of complications to an other wise simple 5th wheel hitch. Guess if you did not have a pick up capable of the pin load, it would be another way to pull a 5er.

I fail to see the reasoning behind something like that. They tout as one of the advantages of this hitch is that you can now use your truck bed for storage. Well, if that's an important consideration, then either get a travel trailer or a toy hauler!
I couldn't find anything on their website that said anything about how much this item cost. However, a similar type hitch from another manufacturer costs around $6,500. I think this and the other (the name escapes me) are overpriced, but it would sure be cheaper than trading units.
