Quite a few things personally keeping us closer to home this summer. But fuel prices surely come into the picture. We had an annual get together last month and Bayou Segnette SP, we were the only local, 9mi. All else were from our FMCA chapter mostly from Baton Rouge.
Going to another get together next week in So. Ms., no more than 100mi. for anyone. Then just Miss Sue and I are going to Grand Is. SP. for a week in August, do some fishing and chill. 200 mi. round trip. But that trip is open for any of the others of our group who want to come.
Haven't got any big trips planned, maybe a Monaco Rally in Kerrville, Tx in November but we can make a month out of that.

It would be great to meet up with you in newfoundland. We could eat some lobster. Our plans will put us going to NF after the FMCA rally in Perry, Ga (March 16-19) and then we have to be back into St. Thomas, Ontario for first part of June. I am not sure when or where the Newmar rally is next year, but hope to catch that as well.

Newmar International Rally will also be held in Perry GA. Not sure of date but it is in June 2009.

The Newmar rally is the last week in June.

Sorry for taking so long for a get back. Looks like our G.I. fishing/chillin trip will be later in the month and somewhat farther East as in Gulf Shores or thereabouts. Closest mall to Grand Isle is in Houma, bout 70mi. You've got a bride, you understand. There's always FloraBama for chillin.

Hey read&learn...are you at Mystic? Hope you're on high ground for the rains expected tomorrow...we'll be in by late afternoon along with George and Cathy.
To get back on topic,we'll be staying closer to home for the remainder of this season and take a wait and see attitude for the next. If prices head towards the atmosphere...the rig stays in the driveway!

Dave, that's OK,,,have a litte repair to do to Harley and going to install bigger drive sheave in Rhino....we'll be heading on west and north first week of August

We need to get together as Ibet we have lots of friends in common..

Not really, we are considering going back to a 5er, since we still have the Dodge TV and it does get better mpg than the MH. We have a budget for RVing and we are looking for the most bang till we retire.
