Glad to hear the DW is home. I found LD to have wonderful sales staff but the service part is a different story, run around wild excuses I finally called company and said LD service manager says you won't ship parts why...... I found but they hadn't ordered them as they were telling me.... when I told the manager what I found out he was VERY sheepish and said he would make sure they were on the way.Took over 2 months to get it off lot after purchased NEW.....once signed for the process really slows down

Don't kwow if I would ever go back to them to purchase or not, but presently they at least are over a barell moreso than before. I knew I had problems when needed some warranty work done took to another warranty place and said it was worked before but didn't stay fixed,he asked where I took it and I said LD, he told me that was my first mistake !!!

Congratulations. It has to be one of the greatest pleasures, getting a new rig. Enjoy, the KS is one nice machine.

We're one week into a three month trip in our KS. It will be a long shake down cruise. The main thing that needs attention is softening the ride. I-95, particularly in South Carolina just about beat us to death. Any imperfection in the road, like expansion joints or filled pot holes were like we were off the road. On smooth pavement it rides like a dream. I intend to find a truck stop and at least get front and rear axle weights. The KS is on a WH W-24 chasis. The Michelin XRV's have a max inflation of 110 lbs. I'm running 100 lbs front and rear because that's what was in them when I picked it up. Hopefully I'm not overweight and can adjust tire pressure. If that doesn't solve it I hear some folks have had sucess with Koni shocks. Next stop, south Jersey.

Ocean View, just a bit north of Cape May. The campground we're staying at is Lake and Shore, an Outdoor World CG. We'll get there Sunday for a weeks stay. Seems to me there is Flying J just after you go over the Delaware Memorial Bridge. I may try to get weighed there unless I see something along the way.
