After owning two Winnebago''s that we loved, we just purchased our first Newmar coach, a 2006 Kountry Star 3778, gasser. We are at Lazy Days waiting while they work off a small punch list. They should be done tomorrow. Here is a link to the coach. 2006 Kountry Star
It has a recliner behind the co-pilot seat that does not seem functional because there is no clearance. I've seen on this forum that some have replaced it with a Euro type lounger and others has fitted a "hoop" type base on the chair so it is movable. We have been happy with the quality of Winnebago and my forun lurking over the years have always found positive comments about the quality of Newmar coaches. We're excited to take it on its maiden voyage. Bob

Congratulations on your Newmar. I hope that you checked out everything and included it in your punch list. My friend got his used from Lazydays and noticed months later that they cleaned the microwave/convection oven with oven cleaner. They found this out when they used the convection oven feature and little white specks flew into their food. Since the oven cleaner was imbedded in the inner workings of the microwave they had to replace it. Maybe you could give it a try before you leave.

Once again enjoy your new coach! Smile

Hi Floridaguy,
Your new coach is very similiar to my rig.

Move the copilot seat full forward-- It should give you acceptable room. You can also rotate the co- pilot seat 180 degrees.

Your rig looks great, best wishes and many, many happy miles. Stayed tuned to this forum for questions or help.

Thanks all. One thing I noticed was there didn't seem to be any inverter, not even a small one. I briefly went through the brief case of manuals. With my previous Winny's, in addition to the various component manuals, there was a Winnebago manual that dealt with the coach. There was no Newmar manual in the case. Should there be a coach manual?
