The X-Aire is a pretty new product just introduced . There are not too many of them on the road yet but I can assure you, that being a Newmar product you will have a great support team behind you if something does come up. We have been very happy with our 04 Mountain Aire.

New to this group as well. We have a 36 BDSA KS Fiver, with two bedrooms, and a full and a half bath. It is a wonderful coach, especially for taking the grandchildren with us, they love the bunk beds, and the bunks are even long enough for a tall adult to sleep in although the upper is limited to 150 pounds. The coach is wonderful and we really love it. Did find that my Ford F-350 CrewCab 4WD Diesel Dually was NOT ENOUGH TRUCK for this trailer! Had a tranny failure at 76000miles and found that coming down Saluda Grade in NC that the braking was on the ragged edge of unsafe. Enough of that I upgraded to the Freightliner. Now I don't even know the trailer is back there.
You will love your Newmar coach.

Glad to see some action on this thread - we are kind of outnumbered by the MH owners on this forum.

Nice looking rig. Have you been over to the MDT and HDT forums at escapees.com? Lots of good info there.

By the by we carry 300 gallons in twin 150 tanks and you are right, filling up is a killer.
Good thing is we can go a long, long way between fill-ups Big Grin

As new 5th owners arrive at this forum maybe this thread will get more use. Big Hand
After all its for all 5th wheel owners. Love
I like the 5th wheels just was not very good at backing telephone poles on the back of Diamond "T" so better I stay away from 5th's. Big Grin

Add one more Newmar 5er owner to the tally! We pick up our '08 Cypress 32RKSH within the week (as soon as a clear snow-less day arrives!) Traded in our MH and can't wait to 'unpack'!

We traded in a motorhome too. We got our Torrey Pines in Nov. and since we did not go south as planned we winterized it and there it has sat! I love my new house, area and South Dakota, but I miss the road and getting antsy to try it out! We hope to take it south tp AZ the end of March if the weather along I-25 cooperates. I will miss some of the motohome amenities and convenience of not having to "go outside to get to the potty", but with not full timing anymore, it was a better choice financially for us.

Save travels.

We full-time, but decided the extra living space of the FW would be a plus. (It was just me when I got the MH!) Since we lucked into a 3500 DRW Chevy for the business, we already had the TV. The polar package will be another plus, as I'm still stuck working for a bit longer! Frown

There are pros and cons to each type of rig. The space in the 5ver is great, but then we had a lot of room in the Country Coach too. Less basement storage in this 5ver, but we aren't carrying everything anymore either so we should be ok.

I'll miss the Hydro Hot, Advantium Micro, quiet generator and huge inverter. I imagine we'll add a generator at some point in time if we're on the road enough to need one.

I miss full timing, but like where I'm at too. Always trade offs!

Safe travels.
