We've been to only one Rally -- the first one ever held way back when in Gillette, WY.

At that rally there were about 5,000 rigs! Way too many people for us! I don't know how many people The Rally is drawing now, particularly considering fuel prices, but we probably wouldn't ever go to another one.

The Newmar International will have anywhere from 6-700 rigs.... Maybe GaryKD will have more accurate numbers, but seems to me I recall they'd had over 600 signed up. It's a tremendously good time and I'd recommend it next year. The '09 NKK International will be in Perry,GA.

The iRV2 National rallies average anywhere from 40-60 rigs or so, but I'd suspect the fuel prices are having a tremendous effect on this year's rally in Texas.

Next year's iRV2 National Rally will be in the Amish area of Ohio.

Does that 3500 include all that came in the gate or just those parked on the grounds? The surrounding campgrounds for miles were all full. A lot of people, DW & I included, booked in one of those and went in on a passport instead of staying at the on site very crowded with no hook-ups.

Actually, that number represents the total number of rigs. The reported count was 3,439 towable and motorized RVs, and with walk-ins, about 9,200 people attended.
