I have been a member here for several years and have my browser set to auto log in. Today I wanted to place an ad in the classifieds as I am hoping to sell a 50 Amp Hughes autoformer. The site asks me to log in again and when I put in my information it tells me I have entered a wrong password and if I enter any e-mail address I may ever have had it says it is not recognized. Where do I go from here?

The Classifieds require a separate registration from the forums, most members use the same username and password so remembering is easier. I just took a look at the list of registered members in the Classifieds and we don't have a registration for a username 'bdpreece' or any other username using email address of bdpreece@q.com.

I think if you go though the registration process starting by clicking on the 'Register' link you should be able to post your ad with very little additional difficulty.

Thanks Hichiker. Rather odd that if you are a registered user you need to register but that is what it takes. It let me post my ad but when I go back to view it I still don't see it. Probably a lag time or something.

Glad you got it done. Our Groupee software provider doesn't offer a classified feature so we purchased it from a different provider, then linked them together. Hence the dual registration requirement.

Your ad has been approved and you should be able to view it now.
