Over thae last severazl weeks, I have been experiencing a terrible time getting onto the forum website. When I click on forums, it shows it's waiting for the website but just sits there and finally says it's not responding. This is the only website I have this problem with. Out of 10 times trying to get on, I may get on once. It's frustrating and I can only assume Eve Community is a very small server whichc can't handle the load.

Has anyone else had problems likje this?

Toban, I have had the same problem with my home computer, very frustrating however very few problems at the office! I was putting the blame on my ISP. At any rate it is enough to make one want to dip snuff! This is a great site full of usfull information, hope this gets resolved.

I don't have any trouble getting on the forum but, the daily report of newest postings I get is sometimes too small to read and I have to got to printable view to read it.

Try clearing your cookies and deleting your Temporary Internet files and let us know what happens afterward.

I have Windows XP. The computer was bought in 2006. I clear all my cookies etc. It seems when there are alot of people on, memebers and guests is when it's hard to get in. I got in now no problem when there's very few people on. It just seeems the ISP gets overloaded when there's alot of people on line. I'll try as I said 10 times and I'll get through on the "forum" maybe once! It's very frustrating to the point where I may go somewhere else. I like this website though. Don'y have this problem with any other website I go to.

Couldn't get on again. Tried several times but this time when I rebooted the website I went to campgrounds and then forum and it went through. Sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't.

Very frustrating so I have been spending more of my time on another website.

Toban, often it is your ISP that is the slow down. If they start to get overloaded, it will slow down to the point that you will time out on your connection and not get the website connected.

As a recent retiree from a major ISP I can tell you that the Internet explosion (I say explosion because I cannot think of a stronger term) has left many providers reeling with the dilemma of upgrading their facilities, adding routers and streamlining routing. There are also new routing technologies being implemented. But speaking from experience, the internet is growing faster than technology can be implemented. Hopefully ISP's will can catch up.

I have been having the same problem lately when I switched from a land-line based DSL connection to a wireless card connection.
