Brett Wolfe the president of the CAT Chapter FMCA reccomends dawn dishwashing detergent and a water hose pressure only for cleaning your radiator. A water heater flush rod helps.

CAT makes a crank case breather (slobber) tube kit or you can use abs fittings and extend the tube to where it extends away from the radiator.

When you think your radiator is nice and clean, run a straw from a WD40 can (or something similar) between the fins in various places to see what is left in there. Any grease or oil will act as a dirt magnet. Keep cleaning until the straw comes out clean everywhere.
