I joined this site over a year ago, but never got a chance to post much. So I figured I re-introduce myself. I'm Cheryl from NY, I have a husband and we have three children....and 11 1/2 year old girl and 9 yr old b/g twins. We have been RVing with the kids since they were toddlers. We LOVE it. In the past few years we have stayed at hotels occasionally for karate tournaments and our feelings are always the same.....Thank God we don't have to stay in hotels when we vacation!!! LOL

We have a 30ft Conquest travel trailer(w/ slideout) and we just purchased a 2005 GMC Sierra 2500HD w/ duramax diesel. We haven't towed with it yet, but will be soon. Before that we were towing with a Surburban 1500....which we were obviously pushing it and were limited to where we could go. Although we'll miss that third seat!

Welcome to the IRV2 website, Cheryl! You and your husband will really enjoy that Duramax Diesel, you won't have any problems towing your travel trailer, glad you came back, if the forum can help you in any way let us know. Ed. S

Don't know what part of NY. you are from, but we are thinking about a get together at Lake Erie State park maybe on the weekend of 7/8. Do you think you could join us?

Glad to see all-ya'all (plural for ya'll) back again. Now you need to hook up that RV and go enjoy it with the kids. They grow up too fast.

Btw... if there is a get-together in the Lake Erie area, count us IN!! Hb's family lives near Buffalo; we travel up there every Sunday to visit. When you say Lake Erie State park, exactly where is located?
