Occasionally the parking brake alarm will continue to sound after I release the brake ith the coach in gear. Sometimes it clears with repeated cycling of the brake and other times I just have to wait it out, driving off with it whooping like a diving alarm.

The dash light goes out OK and I know the brake is NOT applied.

Anybody fixed one of these yet?

Ron

Are you sure it's the parking brake alarm, and not the jacks down alarm? Since the light goes out, I can't see how the alarm still alarms?

I had nearly the same problem. Recently purchased a 2003 Endeavor 40 PST. During the test drive before purchase this alarm would sound then eventually go away after several brake on/off and in/out of gear cycles. 2 weeks later when I went to take delivery of the coach the alarm came on and stayed on regardless of cycleling the parking brake or the transmission. The dealer replaced the sensor/switch attached to the bottum of the parking brake on/off selector.

Before doing this they switched relays in the "Monaco 2" box in the electrical bay in front of the left front tire. They first made sure the air horn worked, then used the air horn relay from the "Monaco 1" box as a substitute for each parking brake relay in the "Monaco 2" box.

I hope this helps.
