I would like to suppy my local repair shop with a diagram of where the grease fittings are for the roadmaster. I have a HR Endeavor 2006. I recall either seeing a diagram or reading some where where to secure one. Any ideas??? Besides an oil change, filters and grease any others suggestions before storing for the winter??
Thanks Ed |

Already winterized but having some hail damage repairs done and then oil change.
Wish I could use the MH year round. Thank you! |

Hi -
Monaco has a nifty lube-manual (more like booklet-size) that lists all service points, lubes needed, and intervals. I found it on their website, and I think it was their web-shopper area. It was something like $15 a year ago, which seems high for its size, but it did have all information in one convenient spot. I have also heard since that your dealer 'may' get you a copy for free. A good reference in any case. HTH, Ron - - - - - - - - - - - '06 HR Endeavor 40PAQ (Mission Hills decor). Ron,
Thanks for the tipster. I called my dealer I bought the mh through (not a Holiday Rambler dealer any more) and they were going to make a call to find out. Mean while, mh still in shop for hail damage repair since HR sent wrong parts again (or dealer ordered wrong parts). May not see winter storage until after the first of the year at this rate. Thanks much! |

Ed S....I bought the manual off the Monaco website. It has other good info besides just the lube points.
For info, you have two on the driveshaft, a couple on the brake treddles, some on the rear suspension arms. Some on the front suspension and I think there are three on the steering wheel shaft (two outside, one inside). This is from memory. The $15 is well spent for the manual. I refer to it when I lube the chassis and have often said "oh yea, I forgot about that.

Thanks one and all for your thoughts. I will check with my dealer if they are able to secure a copy otherwise it sounds like a good idea to spend the $15.00 to make sure all fittings are located and greased..
HAPPY HOLIDAYS! |

Good tip about the lube manual. Thanks. I made copies of all of the pictures in the regular manual and used that as my map. I think a direct manual should help with those locations.
The one place I didn't much appreciate was the steering shaft. It is so high up there that it is a real stretch to get up there. All of the other fittings were pretty easy to access. There are some pictures here if anyone misses their zerk fittings - http://www.chillaxnet.com/gallery2/main.php/v/dig/dp/tech/?g2_page=7 ---kev ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ 2006 Monaco Knight 40PLQ | Animation of Floorplan 2008 Jeep Wrangler Sahara 4X4 Kev's Blog: When the Geek Hits the Road | NüRVers.com |

First of all, Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all of you. My dealer ordered the manual for me and I picked up yesterday. You are right is well worth the money. Not sure I will ever do my own oil and grease but handy to have for the shop who will. Thanks so much for the info. Will have oil changed next week and then to storage until April when we make our first trip east to RI.
Best Regards |
