Hi I called Monaco and was give a ride height of 8 13/16 but the Tech said that was a guess.
I have a R4r chassis 08 neptune 39pbt and just wonder if anone knows what the ride height is?
After 2 more calls to Monaco rear 8.5in measure center bag only..front 6 15/16th measure bag only mount to mount...this is the same for 07 as well...Mine were off on the front 1 in and rear were on the money...

That is the same measurement, 8 13/16, that Monaco gave me for my RR8S chassis. Maybe Monaco is using the same air bag in yours as is in mine. I'd give them another call for verification, though.
On delivery, my air bags were 1" too high in the front and the tire pressure was 125# all the way around. I dropped the air pressure to 105F & 90R for a some improvement. Then when I set the air bags on spec, I was like driving a different coach. Oh, what a differece an inch makes.

Harry,
Seems like MCC is pretty consistant ride height being set too high. Our '06 Endeavor was 1" too high and you are right, setting the ride height correctly made a great deal of difference in the ride quality.

I hate to blurt out information without any supporting data, but for the life of me I can't find my coach-manual. I 'think' it's somewhere in the coach-manual as to where and how to measure, and adjust, the ride-height but I'll have to bow to others to verify/challenge that thought.

As mentioned, ride-height is critical to not only ride-comfort but to such things as driveability, steering, sway, rear axle-alignment, etc, so I'd want to make sure I had the right parameters before starting work.

Also, make DARN sure you have the coach adequately prevented from squashing you if you inadvertently release one of the air-valves, as it could decide to squat (and quickly).

HTH

In the interest of evolving/merging a very useful subject, please note that there is a similar topic "roadmaster ride hight (sic)" over on the Monaco Owner's Forum.
