Well if you want to get better gas mileage, stop at the welcome center in the state you are going in and tell them to turn off the wind machine. Or you can try the 50ft. garden hose and electric fuel pump. Got a W20 Terra LX 07. Getting between6.4 to 9. 9 was on Cape Cod, 50 or below.

Well I don't know if this is every state, but, Oregon changed the "blend" that gas stations are allowed to sell and since the change I've noticed a 3-4 mpg drop in my 35+ mpg Ford Focus. Yes, I'm talking 10% drop in mpg, so the original post of 6.27 to 5.4 mpg drop would be about right if this happens in other states.
