You have to go through the process of simulating buying the Chassis Guide and placing it in your shopping basket. Once you visit your basket at the end of the purchase process it'll be in there for you to download.

There will only be 2 choices buy the print copy or download the FREE On-Line copy.

Has any one converted any motorhome gas engine to run on propane. I was thinking this would be a good idea with the new UFO.

They do it in England and Europe all the time. I don't believe converting a UFO's gasoline engine to LP will buy you much especially given that the 100,000 mile and 5 year warranty on the engine could be compromised.

Hi smokejoe, overhere in the UK, LPG conversions as driver said are very common.

We had our Brave converted in 05, with petrol at 90p per litre and LPG locally at 39p its easy to understand why. Smile

For some reason petrol prices all over the UK are fairly simular, but LPG can vary between 34p and 50p depending on where you buy it.

You do lose some power, about 20-25% so on petrol I was getting about 9.5mpg on LPG I get about 7.5mpg (imperial gallons)

No idea how your petrol price compares to LPG but I would think unless its less than half the payback period is to long. Cost us £3500 to convert, including shortning the petrol tank by about a third to fit the LPG tanks, which is always a problem on the shorter length RV's like mine. (31')

I too cannot get it to download, even though I have followed the directions and even updated to version 8. I'm familiar with downloading and saving documents, including .pdf documents, so I'm not conviced it's 'user error' on my part.

I've gotten 'file is corrupted..' error messages, blank screens after starting the download and the file download stalling or timing out after a short period of time. I've tried both opening the file and saving it with the same results.

Anyone else sucessfully download the Chassis Guide? I tried again last night and this morning but to no avail. I think it's at the Workhorse website, as this morning I couldn't even login...
