Hi Mike,
I know about your shop and am greatly aware of your shop's sterling reputation from members of this forum. One of this days, I'll drive the 70 or so miles to get there when I do require a dedicated and satisfactory service. On my original post, the WSC that I'm using here (won't name them) don't really give me that satisfying feeling that they know what they're doing. I'm not mechanically inclined but I learn from members here - so when I ask the techs/counter clerks about some concerns, their answers don't give me that warm, fussy feeling. So, one of this days, I'll be calling your shop to get an appoitment.

Here is another Workhorse Service Center to add to the list.

G M Varnado & Sons Inc.
7659 Airline Hwy
Baton Rouge, LA 70814
225-924-5378

I had a front end alignment done there last week. The location was very clean, personnel were polite, service was done quickly and efficiently. If you need a service location in BR try this one.

Okay, I know there are mixed feeling out there but I have to share my good experiences:
Lazy Days, Seffner, FL.

All work has been performed as requested and never sold any service I didn't need. I even had the fuel rail recall performed in the parking lot without unhooking my TOAD! We have spend the night in the service bay and treated extremely well by the employees.

FloraBama, Make sure you use the "Rate A Dealer" resource on the Workhorse.com website under Dealers/Motor Home/Find A Motor Home Service Center. Ether the Seffner, FL zip code and rate the dealer.

The appropriate person will read the good review regarding the dealership and that dealership will be rewarded for their excellent customer service.

If you are in Holland, MI and see Holland Motor Homes you might think they are diesel only. They are a WH service Center and do great work. Mine has always been ready when promised and the job has been done right the first time.

My exhaust manifold decided to make all sorts of raucous noise. I found a WH repair center here in Billings -

Hanser's Auto
430 S. Billings Blvd
Billings, MT 59101

They found the problem and had it fixed even though I arrived at 3:30 PM.

Also, my basement air 2nd state runs for about 1/2 hour and then kicks the breaker. I took it in to -

Billings RV
2790 Gabel Rd
Billings, MT 59101.

They had it analysed and arrangements made with my extended warranty people in about 3 hours. Part (control board) is being overnighted (1-2 days).

I am happy and not connected to either shop.

KC is a great advisor and the technicians are excellent. I used them to install the UltraPower setup and perform the instrument cluster recall back in April of 06 at 13,151 miles. I already had Banks install the Power Pack in January. I like the way they discuss the products that are available. I live in Poway, CA and I thought I wanted the local Bilstein shocks. I had RTS put on Koni shocks and I am glad I did.

I returned in May of this year and had them perform their Pre-Trip Inspection and Service. They updated the UltraPower at no charge. They serviced the brakes and I feel confident I’ll have no problems with them. They inspected filters and only replaced the ones that needed attention. They checked everything and I feel they were not trying to sell me anything that was not needed.

I commented that I still had to correct the steering like Danica Patrick was doing at Indy and they said trac bars would stop the rear end from coming around. It has made my motorhome handle great and I notice that Holiday Ramblers now come with a front trac bar.

If you are satisfied with good service, Cummins Cal Pacific in El Cajon (20 miles from me) did a good job of replacing the fuel damper retainer clip in October of 06, but if you want good service and performance, I’d go to RTS (93 miles from me).

Poway to Fresno (over the Grapevine)8.9 mpg pulling the 4,000 pound Jeep Liberty.
