Dale;

My site # for Oct 1 - 5 is I20. My site # for the Rally is HH10. I could not reserve the same site # early do to another rally prior to ours. The move will not be an inconvenience for me.

Lee and anyone who wishes to come early.

In order to call for a site you should have your registration returned with the assigned site.

Check out Ocean Lakes at www.oceanlakes.com and click on the "Maps" icon to see the lay out, Rally sites are mostly in HH and H

There is a rally scheduled at Ocean Lakes the week before the Sun and Surf Rally. Therefore your assigned site might not be available for early arrival.The Rally sites are arranged in the area of the Buildings used for meetings, displays, etc.

Ocean Lakes is a large campground and has approximately one mile of beach front and is about one mile deep.

Early arrivals should plan to relocate to the assigned Rally site on the 6th.

The Sun and Surf is the third Rally in the area during the period.

Thanks Chief.... I need to talk to the little women and see what dates they wanna get there. We are close to Nashville and figure to take at least a couple daze to get there.. We may do some detours also on the way depending on gas prices. We have not toured eastern Tennessee (YET)

FYI, Just spent time at Ocean Lakes in May this year. Wonderful facilities. Great golfing. Ask for discount tickets for Prestwick. (Same owners)
Two tid bits of information.
#1, If you sign up for the wi-fi, (not free) be careful you are not too close to the high rise Condo next door which has their own and will bump you off line. Service provider was very understanding and issued a credit for poor service.
#2 Don't leave your bicycles outside uncovered or anything bare metal. Sea spray will create surface rust in a heartbeat.

Sorry we can't make it, hope you have a great time!!

A number of WIT Members from the GNR asked me about the WCMC Rally. I expect that they will attend.
