I am looking at the 07 or newer Dolphin information and I do not see any information on this. So, does anyone know if the Factory prewiring for satellite have 1 or 2 runs of Coax. I am guessing (as I don't know) that for a dual LNB setup, there should be 2 runs of Coax. Or would this be a tech question for the factory? Looking to be educated.
Thanks

I had 2 runs from the cockpit to the roof on my '05 Seabreeze LX. You should call NRV and ask for Owner Services. Call early in morning, PST, or you will reach recording. Phone # on website, www.nationalrv.com.

Mine has two runs also. These are at the roof pass thru box. I only use one of them. Not sure where the end of the other one goes. There also is a 6 wire flat phone cable at the roof pass thru that goes to the front entertainment center. Probably for the auto tracking system. The rear TV location does have 2 antennae connections. One of these is used by the TV and seems to connect and work with front system's selection box. I would guess the other might be the second satelite cable???

My understanding, after talking to NRV Owners Services, is that both roof to inside COAX cables appear behind the front TV, accessable from below. I haven't checked. When I took delivery, I was supposed to have an antenna supplied, and wired to the TV. Of course it didn't work. Thats when I got on the roof and checked inside the box. Two COAX cables. They had hooked the wrong up to the antenna. You can do continuity checks on the cables to determine which one to use, without pulling off the bottom panel below the TV. Once again, I would run everything past the factory first. Good luck.

We have a 05 Dolphin 5376. I was getting ready to install a dome on the roof and called NRV owner services. In 05 there were two coax's in the box on the roof. One runs to the front entertainment center, the other runs to the rear outlet near the tv.

I checked and I have 2 coax jacks for my bedroom TV. # 1, which I am connected to, carries whatever is selected on the front Winegard switch panel; sat TV, batwing ant, DVD/vcr, etc. The second jack, never used, is there for a purpose. Could it be for dual LNB applications, allowing a different TV channel to be watched in the bedroom than up front? Wouldn't that require an additional Sat Tuner?Looks like we have a mystery here. Lets all jump in and solve it!

It's most likely run up to the sat connection on the roof. That's the way our 05 Dolphin is set up. One run the the winegard control center and one run back to the rear jack.

Yes, the rear TV is where the second run goes. I have two sat boxes installed in my Seabreeze, one fore one aft... each has its own LNB from the dish. Make yourself a continuity jumper (F-connector barrel jumped from center pin to shield) and you can tell which is which from the roof box with an ohmmeter.

That's the way mine is configured as well.
