has anyone tried this system on a workhorse 8.1 I was at a sani station the other day and a fellow with an older coach c-class 24ft stated he was gettiin 21+miles per gallon with the system (showed me the installation) I went to the web site but unless you buy the package $97.00 you cannot get a lot of info so if anyone has tried it or know of anyone whom has tried it please let me know the results it sounds interesting but don't know if it would work on a big block engine controlled by a computer maybe you techies would look and give me your impressions

Without getting to deep into this, isn't it the water injection systems of the 1970's ?

Steve,

This is different.

What they're saying is that they interject the hydrogen and oxygen extracted from water into the engine's air intake which ostensibly increases the gasoline's burn rate thus improving mileage. Some folks stand firm that it works, others such as 'dieselclacker', say it's snake oil. I think the jury is still out on it.

I thought one of the statements made by someone on that forum was this , "It produces two kinds of Hydrogen,...' was a clue.
I have no idea whether this works or not, but some of what these guys were talking about seems to make sense on first thoughts. Now whether or not the volume of hydrogen (produced in a generator as small as a couple of them describe) is sufficient to change MPG or performance is another matter.

When I hear " It produces two kinds of Hydrogen,...", I am skeptical immediately. I wonder what the OTHER type of hydrogen.

It makes absolutely no sense cuz its as phoney as a three dollar bill. Yes they are working on cars in calif right now that run on hydrogen. Starting with a fleet of taxies. Cost to operate or build one system right now is in the thousands of dollars. You cannot buy it for less than that and you must be a basic scientist to put it together properly. If anyone is trying to sell you a kit or tell you anyone can do it I would not walk I would run from them for they are nothing but scammers and theives.

I don't think the jury is coming back in. Wink

If any of these snake oil products worked, then the vehicle manufacturers would use them, as mileage sells.

I wonder if they said "two parts of Hydrogen" as would be in the water compound H2O? Confused
