Does anyone happen to have or know the location of a drawing (NRV) that shows the metal frame of the box itself. Somewhere I have seen a skeleton drawing that shows the metal framework. I am getting ready to install a new sat antenna and would like to be able to find a metal cross member to put a couple of the mounting bolts into.

The roof is fiberglass. Under it is plywood, under that a sheet of steel. I know because I had to finish installing the gray water tank vent that NRV didn't feel necessary to do. You should be fine using lag bolts any where on the roof. Only protrude in to the roof about 1 inch.

Rick,

Sorry to change Kent's post request, butt I am interested in how you routed the grey tank vent, we have an "07" Dolphin and the grey water tank is vented in the kitchen sink cabinet and also the bathroom sink cabinet, bad odor when tank gets 3/4 full or sits in hot weather for a couple days. Their plumbing dawing,s show's these vents as installed so is design flaw in my opinion.

These are not vents. They allow air to come into the system so the p traps won't get sucked dry when other drains on that line are used.

When NRV built our 5376, they forgot to finish installing the gray vent through the ceiling. Every time we showered, we'd get a foul smell in the coach. I opened up the control panel door which happens to be directly behind the shower and removed a panel from an inside corner of the area behind the shower. I found a vent pipe that was stubbed about half way up the wall. I obtained a set of drawings that showed where the vents were. The drawing noted that the roof had to be installed first before bringing the vent pipe up to the roof. My guess was that someone forgot to do that. I drilled a 2 1/4 inch hole up through the roof and finished bringing the vent through the ceiling. The smell is gone. That's why I know how the roof is laminated with steel and plywood.

Rick,

Thanks for the responce.

speed racer,

Thanks for your input, I understand the design intent but Kitchen sink drain run goes into the gray tank with no other drains on run, it diffently acts as a vent, when you open the under sink cabinet door the ordor will knock you over untill gray tank is emptied, have tried chemecals to harbor ordor with no luck, regardless of design intent it needs to vented to outside in some manner.

Those vents under the sinks are, as Speed Racer noted, just to stop the p trap from going dry. You might have one that is not working as intended. You also might want to make sure you have two vents on the roof. I'm not thinking that it would of made sense to combine the two in to one.
When I was trying to fix our oder problem, one of the first things I did was go up stairs to find the vents. I was very surprised to find only one.

I don't think these sites have what you want but they may be interesting to you. The first is(www.nrvh.com/Blochures.html) Don't forget the capital (B) and then click on 2005 dolphin. The second is (www.nrtrv.com/tour/) then go to the bottom of the page and click dolphin.

To speed racer,
I don't know how you posted that but your post was just added on to my quote. I almost missed it. However, I copied your links but neither of them produce any results. I have visited the drawings that are available on yahoo groups but they don't show the frame structure in any of them. I think this was just wishful thinking on my part...
