First, before anyone gets cornfused, I have one of the only 2 '08 Dolphins that came out of the factory with the last of 07 interiors so I have the CRT instead of the LCD. (yea, bummer)Yes, the factory made 2 this way. The only way to tell is that the model number on the side of the coach has a 'i' at the end for 'introductory'
Anyway, We recently got back from a 2500+ mile trip and the front overhead TV was making lots of noise when we hit some larger bumps in the road. It also was creaking against the wood facia for smaller bumps. But it stopped partially through the trip. I had noticed that the top of the TV moved back from the facia and was moving some when going over bumps. By the end of the trip, the TV had moved towards the front of the coach. The top of the TV now sits 1/4" to 1/2" away from the facia while the bottom is against it. I have not taken the facia off to see what is going on back there but both the wife and I are wanting to put a LCD up there anyway. SO, If anyone has a 08 Dolphin with the LCD, can you please get me some measurements of the cabnitry around the TV.
1. distance between the inner edges of the stereo doors
2. the inside dimension of the cabinest where the stereo is
3. If possible, the dimensions of the hole the LCD fits into and what make/model of the LCD.

I know I will not be using the same LCD as the factory or that I will be able to change the metal structure for the mounting provisions of the TV but if I can get those dimensions, it will help me figure out what will fit there.

Thanks for the help to anyone that can do this.

Don't know if this will help, but I have a 2007 Dolphin 5342 which I replaced the toshiba frt.tv [failed after 1 month out of warranty]. I replaced it with a Sanyo 26" lcd. Fits perfectly.Attatched 5/8 plywood to the metal frame on a 45 degree angle ,then an lcd swivel mount. Final step was to have a cabinet shop make a frame around it similar to the original. Also upgraded the satellite receiver to hd and connected with an hdmi cable. Now have a fantastic picture.I believe there is another similiar post on doing this also. Good luck. Ken

Ken, thanks for the info. I would really like to fit a 32 but it may be too much work with changing the cabintry and mouting than to put a 26 in there. I would love to do the HD thing too but once the TV is in, I will probably route a new cable (maybe HDMI) for future growth.
The funny thing is that I put this question out on a couple of forums and no one has chimed in. I remember hearing of some folks buying 08's out there. Guess I am on my own. Bummer
At least there are lots of LCD conversion threads with pictures out there to go by.

We must be the other one of the two you mention. Our 08 Dolphin 6367 also has a CRT TV, however, it will receive digital channels. We installed a 32" LCD in the hutch which fits perfectly. Sorry I cannot help with the measurements, but I would appreciate you passing along any info you get as I would like to replace the front TV also. Good luck with your project.

Marshall, When we were at the factory last year, we were told that there were 2 that were crossovers (08 model with an 07 interior) and that they had an 'i' at the end of the model designation. After those 2 everythig was supposed to be 08/08 with the LCD. In our case, the delivery date was perfect and we picked the exterior color based on color xerox sheets and what the interior color was. We love our combination. Our TV is teh same as yours. a Toshiba with the digital tuner. We can get the digital stations from my house but I have not tried any other place (mainly because it is easier to just use the satellite). I wish we had the hutch instead of the TV over the front end but no coach is perfect. Glad you could fit the 32" LCD. We may not be so lucky with 32" between the 2 cabinet doors up front. I have found a couple 32" LCDs that measure 31.5" or so wide so that cuts it close.
Thanks for the reply.

I think ours is a one of a kind. The coach was actually ordered in Feb. 07. At that time we were told that the Dolphin LX 6367 ( mid entry and foward galley) was to be discontinued, but because we had owned two previous LX's they would build one more. By the time it was built it was July 07. It was built according to the 08 floor plan that was pictured on thier web site. This was with out our knowledge or approval. They moved the dinette to directly across from the galley and installed a vertical window over the sink rather than the horizonal one which was an improvement. In the bedroom they moved the TV to the rear of the coach and installed a window where the wardrobe would have been. This left one small wardrobe. To solve this problem (the DW packs as though she will never be comming home again) I had them put doors over the opening where the window was installed. As a result we probably have the only coach with a window in the wardrobe closet. With this change we accepted the coach. On delevery it was numbered and titled as a 08. I might add that we have had absolutely no problems with this coach after 1 year and 17,000 miles so warranty is not an issue any longer.

Marshall, it sounds like yours was on the same production lines as ours. We took delivery of ours on July 28 2007. It was delivered to the dealer less than a week prior. I think we went on the factory tour in late May, I think. and we got the VIN of our coach and then went straight to our dealer who was working on finding a coach for us. He got the VIN, we put a deposit down and the coach was ours.
Wow, at 17K, you do a bit more driving than we did in our first year. We are at about 5K
I am glad to hear you have had no problems either. We had a generator oil leak(fixed by Onan under warranty), Our hydraulic jack pump went out(rusted out but fixed under the Jack warranty) and the front end alignment was scary off (WH generously covered that). Other than that, and the falling main TV, we have had no problems. The coach has been wonderful.
