Has anyone encountered a front seal leak? I have 37k miles on my RV 2002 fleetwood Pace Arrow, and have been noticing a leak in the front portion of the Transmission.
Seems to be leaking when RV is parked with the jacks down. Good idea or should I not level it when stored/parked?
local repair is quatoing $1200+ to replace front seal. Is this what is needed?

If I read your post correctly, the leak is only when the jacks are down_. That has no connection to the transmission, two separate systems. Are you able to quantify the leakage? How much over 24 hours with jacks up? With jacks down? Is/has either the transmission or jack reservoir been over-full, that will cause leaks sometimes.
I suggest more time/effort in locating the true source of the leakage before having the transmission repaired unnecessarily. If the transmission is actually leaking, it will be necessary for you to add oil at some point.
