I was wondering how much boost most people are seeing while climbing a grade at WOT. I will see 35-37 briefly, then it drops quickly to 31-33. Is this normal or should it maintain higher?

I have a 350ISL and I see 31 to 33 WOT going up hill, and I would think what you're seeing is normal. I understand the turbos are the same on our engines, just a difference in the computer program. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

I've yet to see 28 on my early 2004 ISL 370 (2003 engine). Sounds like I may have a turbo problem???

Alfred, in your case WOT may mean "worn out turbo". Only kidding If the guage is correct I would suspect some sort of restriction such as air filter. You should be pulling more than 22#. Dawn and Mark 06 HR Endeavor 40 PET 05 Taco Pusher Molly and Cassie - the little buddies |

Hi sixpack i have talk to couple of owners with 370 isl engines and they only got 22#. I think I will call Cummins with my engine number and find out what the real pressure should be. Thank You. Al

My 370 ISL shows a max turbo boost of 23 psi.
There are some other pressure displays that show in the 30's, but they are calibrated in inches of mercury (Hg). Any possibility we are mixing two different things here? Such a wide discrepancy seems more than just odd. Gary Brinck 2004 American Tradition 2007 GMC Acadia Homebase in the Ocala Nat'l Forest near Ocala, FL |

I have a 2004 DSDP with a 370 Cummins. I just had the turbo replaced as it was leaking oil from the seal. When they test drove it with the new turbo, I got 31 manifold pressure. They said that's good and where it should be.

I have a 2003, 8.3L, 350HP, ISC. The most I have ever seen at WOT is 24lbs. Is this "in range" or reasonable for an ISC?
