I guess this thread has played out since the last post was in May, but if anyone is interested my husband and I own a dynamax grandsport and have had a wonderful experience. It drives beautifully and everything inside is very sturdy and well equiped. We absolutely love it and are thinking of trading up to a 45' in the future.

As I posted on one of the other forums, I think there are beautiful rigs.

A word of caution, many of the "upper class" RV parks consider these to be Class C and will not allow them. I don't quite understand that reasoning, but just thought I would pass along what I know.

Jim, your right about the class A tag but you know what, I'll take my money and 38 foot Grand Sport elsewhere. Small trade off for the incredible ride on that Freightliner truck chassis.

Except for the cab difference my coach is just like my 2005 Tiffen DP. Only difference is my Dynamax had a msrp over $300,000. If those CG's were trying to keep out low end C's, B's and 5th wheels they should review the new designs. Things change!

I agree about the window above the bed. We went to the factory and ordered one and were able to eliminate the window. We also added a few things. They only make about 280 a year and they are very happy to customize. They surely drive easily and turn on a dime. We ordered the Grand Sport M-2 34 foot.

I forgot to address the dark issue. We ordered natural cherry and it has a beautiful light maple floor. The dark cherry was much too dark. Because we have the dinette we have a large window. One thing I noticed is that the windows all have a dark tint on them and should be great in the hot weather we always seem to encounter. We also had the snake skin put between the roof and the insulation which cuts down the heat load. They have 3 coats of paint on each coach and 3 coats of clear which makes the finish beautiful and durable. The 35 foot that we drove was without rattles and it was a "show" coach that had been driven plenty.

We where seriously considering moving out of our class A and into a Dynamax. We traveled to Holland Michigan to drive one and they do drive like a dream.

Problem was the ceiling height and the tight feeling inside. This year they came out with the "ultra" that has 7 foot ceilings and up to 4 slides....think it MSRP's over 450K though.

Bought a new Vectra instead.....

That's funny Jim, as Warpath now owns a Vectra 40 footer as well and has sold the Showhauler.
