Yeah...Medic Engine 6, Poli Structure Protection Group, single resource. We were up on Lupine Drive and then at the top of Buena Vista. I didn't get to go home for several days.

Got directly dropped on by the SB County bird's bucket, that was a first. Felt really good to get cooled off though, even if it WAS sea-water.

We got dropped on 3 times in the back yard of a home we were protecting. Once from SB's chopper and twice from the red sikorski flying around. The canyon lit up directly behind us and the choppers made a number of runs right at us. It was fun, but one of the drops broke a big branch off a tree and drove it into the roof of the house. Kind of scarry the power of the water falling. Also had a fixed wing hit the canyon that sprinkled us with foscheck.

Got a few good short videos and some good pictures though.

Dang my timing is terrible. With the kitchen done and T-day out of the way and in in-laws here we are going to ocotillo next weekend with the in-laws who have never done the desert riding camping thing before. Than my wife and kids have the week of Dec 19 (My Birthday) off so we will be spending that week Monday through Friday at glamis. Sorry I will miss this but if anybody has that week off that's where will be and would love to have company!!!

I sure wish we could go, but too many things
we gotta do before Christmas. Also, we're
taking off for two weeks to Arizona riding right after
the Christmas dinner!

So much riding to do..... so little time to squeeze it all in Sorry

We're going!!! Now here's the next battle....

Convincing my husband that it's ok for me and my girlfriend to leave with the kids, quads, trailer and one jeep. I don't see why us wives can't go out early. I tow, I air down, I can unload....it's definately easier with him but it's not impossible! and my friend is just as knowledgable as me!

So, here's the deal, if us women are allowed to leave early, we'll leave Thursday night or very early Friday morning. If he isn't comfortable with it, then we wait until he gets off work Friday night and then head out.

Are you still camping over on Gecko? We're still heading out to the spot we're always at in the washes. We'll come to find you either way for some great rides!

We'll be somewhere in the vicinity of Gecko, maybe one of the pads if there is a nice flat spot available for the kids to ride on.

Look for a red F250 with fireman plates, a Next Level with a 22' flag pole...white flag w/ big red "X".

If you ladies get lonely over there in the washes just come on over our way! Wink

Didn't you say you camped in wash 10? That's where we'll be (well about 11ish)! When are you heading out?
