I'm thinking of getting a 5er with a little more room then i currently have.

The new Warrior LE models have a slide and increased front room which might just be perfect. And it looks like WW has switched to a 10 gal. water heater instead of the 8 which used to be just an option. But i'm wondering what options or factory requests other people may have had done? I know I heard someone had the factory weld extra frame supports in the rear because he was hauling a heavy buggy. Or have a 2nd AC installed over front bedroom.
Any other options or just special manufacturer requests you have made?

Hi Mike

WW has made a lot of the stuff standard that I would have got as an option. Guess I need to sell mine and order a new one.Big Grin

As for options now, in my case you gotta have the winch and the 5k tiedown option. Ditto on the bay windows, wife couldn't do without the extra sofa's in the rear. I got the reinforced floor and door last time but now its standard as I understand. One thing I would like to see is a step that has the ability to fold down to a triple or leave one folded if not needed. That way when you level, if you need the extra step, you have it and if not, just have the two. Would eliminate the need to carry around an extra step (that could and does turn over).

Good luck on your research.

Tom,

long time buddy!

that extra sofa in the rear does look nice, but i store too much of my 'junk' back there while out at camp. I am looking strongly at the new 'booth' bench that WW has though. kinda cool looking.
and that triple entry step, i pretty much have to have that all the time with my trailers having flipped axles. I'm tall and leap like a bunny but not all my buddies (wives) agree. gimme that triple step they tell me, grow a little i tell them, i bought the step.

but the new stuff that I am after:
50 amp service
10 vs 8 gal water heater
a slide (new in the LE series)
rear ramp screen to let in some air, not the ramp room though

a new option this year that is NOT under consideration:
the rear loft bed ELECTRICALLY goes up and down. buddy, when i am that lazy, i don't need a toyhauler, i need a nurse. (i wouldn't mind a nurse NOW, but wifey says i can't have one.)

but this option has me interested:
diamond plate on the lower couple feet of the interior walls to keep the bikes from scuffing the walls. i have my own plasma cutter so unfortunately i'm going to 'borrow' that idea and cut my own d.plate and form it to the kick walls

i really don't get too many options ever. i guess i'm a rugged guy, just a T.V. and my beer, and a microwave, and fridge, and two AC units, and , and, ....

happy trails Tommy
