Is it a bus or an early attempt at some sort of van type truck? The writing on the side and lack of windows leads me to believe it is not a bus.
Is this thing parked someplace or is this just an old photo?
Would love to see it - inside and out.

Looks like one of the old International bookmobiles. I'll have to dig out my truck and bus spotters guide sometime and look it up.

Not only do I not know what it is, I am having a bit of trouble figuring out which way it is facing.

It looks like the back end of a huge horse trailer.

I think it's from the "Mad Max" movies, starring Mel Gibson. The doorway indicates a right hand drive, like they have in Austrailia. Maybe not....

I don't know what it is but it is actually parked about 50' from Pacific Ocean in what could be a very nice RV park. Somewhere between Ensenada and Puerto Nuevo, Mexico. We took a pic of another nice MoHo with aged or very rustic rebar welded over the windows but I have'nt found it yet on the puter.
We decided to go ahead and go back and spend the night in San Diego. Got all our windows cleaned, tires polished with "Wet & Black" and got entertained with a juggling act while waiting in line to get back to the USA. I did'nt really ask for these services but went ahead and tipped them for their work.

I think Paul is correct. It appears to be an old bookmobile.
