what do most of you do? we would like to get a hitch carrier to take our new club car with us camping. but, it weighs 1,000 lbs according to specs on it.

if we have to we will get a trailer. but, we are looking for other options right now.

thanks

The weight of the rack/lift and club car can easily exceed hitch ratings, and the weight cantilevered so far to the rear can cause the rear axle to be overloaded.

How about something like THIS?

Go to rvrover.com I have one and this is the real deal. No trailer needed and goes on any hitch. I have driven all over the country with this on my hitch and never had a problem. I can also carry four adults all around on the rover. Sell your golf kart and get a rover.

Get one of these. They'll do what your golf cart will do but cheaper, weigh less, and last longer on a charge.
