just got done putting in the cool tech harness on the 08 wrangler. connector provided is flat 4 wire. MH has 7 pin. I know there are adapters available...but would a better solution be to buy the 7 pin, attach only the 4 wires and nix the adapter. That would also allow me space for future use and be a cleaner install.
Thanks
Bob

I wired a 7 way to a 6 way.

A better job without adapters, IMHO.

Walmarts carry 7 to 4 pins adapters in their auto section. They are $9.95. The also have other configurations.

I did exactly that. I cut off the round 4 pin and put on a 7 pin RV plug. No adapter needed!

I have a 6 pin on the Dolphin, the 07 Wrangler a 4. I cut one end of my 6 pin Coil cord off and replaced it with a round 4. Works with out adapters and is a clean install. Just use a test light while you are connecting everything back together.
Also using a cooltech harness. Don't forget to pull the M1 fuse on the Jeep if your MH uses the same bulb for braking as it does for blinking.
