Warren, if you have dual pane windows you will want to be very careful with the foil backed insulation on the inside of the windows. This will reflect the heat and it builds up inside the air space of the window thereby cooking the the seals and causing a vapor leak in between the panes.

Maybe I'm lucky, but I have the foil bubble material on all my windows ( double pane) and have not had any problems... 10 years in the Florida sun on this coach --- 6 yrs on the prior coach

Well, here I go, dooming myself. My last 2 coaches ('07, and '08)have dual pane windows, and I've always used the bubblewrap foil in the hall windows, bedroom windows, and the "skylights" in the kitchen and bathroom. no problems so far. Doomed, doomed, doomed !! Robbie Sunny

I didn't see an answer to the question. If you have the shades pulled down while going down the road, won't they rattle and/or flop against the framework?

SEMO Mike,

The answer with my shades are yes, they will rattle a bit. So we just keep them raised when we travel. Since they are electric and have a remote control, they are easy to raise.
