I need part numbers for radiator hoses for 2000 Holiday Rambler Ambassador, Roadmaster Chassis, 260 ISB Cummins Diesel pusher. I have furnished Monaco with VIN, Coach number and unit number (this last # may be chassis number) Monaco is researching to find how to get the hoses without takin the old ones off first. Mobile mechanic does not want to take them off only to find that we cannot get the right replacesments. There are 2 lower and 2 upper - uppers are heavy duty.

I am told by Cummins dealer that these hoses are chassis specific not engine specificl

Welcome to IRV2, UTXBob. I'm linking your message to the Monaco Owners & Roadmaster Chassis sections as well so that more folks will see it. Maybe somebody has a similar rig and knows the answer.

I think what I'm gonna have to do is take all the hoses off and measure and see what I can find on the Internet in Synthetic or silicon hoses, so I'll have to do it only once.
You can always take the hoses off and go to NAPA and have them match them up.

I guess the big question is are any of these hoses the curved type as in auto or truck applications. If not, it's like ours. Hard piped, with a short section of hose between to solid pipes to take care of vibrations and flexing. NAPA or any industrial hose supply house can match your hose and they sell it by the ft.. Figure how much you need, get twice as much in a single piece, cut each piece to fit with a hacksaw and you have a spare to carry along with you.

What are the advantages of the silicon or synthetic hoses? I would imagine they are a little more expensive than traditional hoses but they might be worth the cost.

Good synthetic or silicon hoses will last the life of the vehicle. I have synthetic hoses on my 65 Elk Camino for 20 years now, and they still are good!
