I just purchased a 96 Lance 500 for my 2004.5 Dodge 1 ton 4x4. Problem, the jacks just touch the ground and won't lift the camper high enough to clear the bed. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Ken

I had a simular problem some years ago with a new 99 F-250 and a 95 slide in. I added 3/8 plates to the top of the jacks and extended them 6-7 inches. It work but was a little shakey in the wind. To do it over I would have had so tube extensions made up for the tripod feet. Scotty.

I used some scrap plywood to make 4 blocks that I set under my jacks when raising the camper. The top piece is the same diameter as the jack feet and then the lower pieces are each slightly wider. They look like little pyramids. This raises the camper up a little higher and gives a wider footprint for the jack legs in case I'm unloading on soft ground.
