I am thinking of going to the 285/75/16 Es when my present BFGs 285/75/16 Ds wear out. I have also considered the Vison 19.5 wheel and tire(?) solution. I am going to get a new truck in the next couple of years so I would want the tire/wheel set up to be able to fit both the old and the new rig. Dodge 1998 3/4 to Dodge 1 ton 2005/6.

I know the bolt pattern is the same but am worried the wheel off-set is different.

Yes go with Toyo. I have Toyo M55's. They are 285/75r16 e rated to run at 80psi and they are rated at 3750lbs. they are the only e rated 16 inch tire i have seen. most toyo dealers will order them for you even if they dont stock them. they are pricey though.

your welcome. We love our s&s. I wanted one for about six years till i finally broke down and just said "I'm getting it". and we haven't looked back. The Toyo m55's are one tough tire you will not be disappointed. Just a note: you will need an eight inch rim to go with a 285.
