What is best way to get more width clearance on jacks. Have dually. Jacks are for single. 167.00 at dealer. Looks like it is just 2-6" cubes with holes and longer bolts. Is too much sticking out with 6" extensions when folded up? Have crank-up jacks. Any help or sugestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

I have hinges that I got at an RV supply store that are made for that. The jacks fold in beside cab when TC is loaded.

Thanks Cliff.
What did you also have to buy cubes and longer bolts to extend clearance to load camper? If so what was the cost. Dealer here asks 167.50 for the 2 6" cubes and 2 bolts(kit). I thought that was a lot to pay.Maybe there is more involved than pix show.

I think the cost was something like $80 but not sure. I removed Jack, bolted hinge where jack was, then bolted jack to the hinge. No cubes.

The cube arrangement will keep the jacks extended out to the side. For a factory option, check out these swing out brackets:

You might be able to get them cheaper elsewhere - I haven't checked prices in a long time.

Being a novice on slide-in campers I forgot to mention when asking for help on "spacers" for camper to clear dually fenders that I have a camper with 3 jack systems (older unit.)so not being a "corner mount" jack system swing outs are not an option. With the help I have gotten here I have solved that problem.I'm sure there will be more.. Would help to ask the correct questions to get correct answers!! Right!!

They are not cheap, but they do what they say. A stablelift can be fit to a dually. Replaces jacks and tiedowns.
