I sprung a leak in the forward window on my slide in camper. It is the seal around the window. I know I need to remove the window, scrape the sealant/tape off, put new tape on & reattach.

Any advice from anyone who has previously done this would be appreciated.

Yeah. Make sure you have someone help to support the window from the other side. I was impatient waiting for a Grandson to help and dropped the window on the door. It broke the plastic frame. Art

The job is done - it was a piece of cake. The window came out, cleaned up, and reinstalled very easily.

We just had a downpour this morning. Now I can go home and see if I did a good job or not. Fingers are crossed!
