I had torklift, Kent Wash, install our tie-downs in 1999; never a bit of problem on many trips from FL to westcoast and back. The torklifts are the old style (small spring in the bottom cyl). On the rear I use the happijac turnbuckles, on the front I use ace hardware turbuckles. HEMI
