The spec sheets list the 45 amp electronic converter in all Lance campers.

Does this mean it will charge at 45 amps when necessary?

I remember reading somewhere that converters many times only have small chargers and the rating, i.e. 45 amps, is a misnomer.

I think Confused that the 45 amp is the capacity of the converter.
Or the number of things that can be hooked up that draw that amount of current.

Lance's literature indicates that the charger includes a "Charge Wizard", so that implies that they're supplying a Progressive Dynamics converter / charger. The specs on their 45 A model indicate 13.6 V at 45 Amps. Here's the link: http://www.progressivedyn.com/Products.php?ProductID=5

Jim:
Thanks for the info. I didn't pick up on the smart charger part. Shoot, I have one of their 80 amp models in my coach.
