The spec sheets list the 45 amp electronic converter in all Lance campers.
Does this mean it will charge at 45 amps when necessary? I remember reading somewhere that converters many times only have small chargers and the rating, i.e. 45 amps, is a misnomer. Regards, Jim Scoggins 1995 Prevost Liberty |

I think
Or the number of things that can be hooked up that draw that amount of current. Chet It's great to be retired! |

Lance's literature indicates that the charger includes a "Charge Wizard", so that implies that they're supplying a Progressive Dynamics converter / charger. The specs on their 45 A model indicate 13.6 V at 45 Amps. Here's the link: http://www.progressivedyn.com/Products.php?ProductID=5

quote: Jim: Thanks for the info. I didn't pick up on the smart charger part. Shoot, I have one of their 80 amp models in my coach. Regards, Jim Scoggins 1995 Prevost Liberty |
