Can anyone tell me where to tie in the lighting wires from the camper to the truck itself. The truck side receptacle I bought is great, but all the wires are bundled in a single loom. This loom needs to run to the motor compartment where I don't have a clue where to find the rear tail, stop, & backup wires. My thought is to split the loom and run the two 8 ga wires to the battery + and ground, and the remainder to the rear of the truck where I know how to splice into the lighting leads. Just wondered if anyone has run across this before and how did you deal with it.

Your plan is about the easiest way to accomplish your goal. As you say run the power leads to the battery and tie the rest into the trailer wiring socket in the rear.
