auxillary wire that charges the camper battery from the truck blow the big 30 amp fuse as soon as i connect. if i have a short somewhere, why doesn't the short deplete my battery???? all other light work ok, i just can't figure out why if i have a short it doesn't deplete the battery in the camper. bill

Check the conections at your plug the short may right at the plug, or a common miss wired plug, geting a pin swapped is pretty easy to do.
