I am looking at the 2005 excursion. I forgot to ask the salesman last weekend if the unit is pre-wired for a CB. It is not mentioned in any of the printed material nor on their web page.

Thanks to anyone who can let me know.

Go Ahead when and if you make your deal that you get a cb and hookup added at no extra cost. I did as an afterthought and they said ok Good Luck, Greg

Not an option. You can have the dealer install the antenna.

I don't know for sure about the Excursion, but on the Southwinds, etc. the stock radio antenna is a combination CB and AM/FM antenna. Under the dashboard is a control box with a coax pigtail for connecting the CB antenna. Many folks say this is a relatively poor CB antenna, but ours works just fine for routine traveling, especially when RVing with friends.
