Greetings,
I recently noticed that one of my Power Gear levelers is not going all the way up. This keeps the red jacks down light on. I noticed for the first time that each leveler actually has a grease fitting on it. After reviewing the operators manual, I found no reference to greasing them. I figure the fitting is there for a reason but before I hit them with my grease gun, I figured I'd look into it. To grease or not to grease? Marco 03 Fleetwood 36S Bounder |

Yes. Grease.
It also helps to wipe down piston with transmission fluid or silicone. |

It is recommended that zerks on your powergear jacks be greased with White Lithium Grease. Even if there are no grease fittings, applying the White Lithium Grease by hand will provide lubrication that won't evaporate or wipe off easily and it won't attract dust and grit. I just applied White Lithium Grease in a handy spray can to the jacks of our '07 Revolution.
