Several years ago we owned a 36 foot 1996 Southwind (sister to the Pace), complete with a tag axle and the big 14 foot "super slide". A gorgeous, well equipped coach and quite the luxury liner for its day. Traded it when the double slide motorhomes became affordable, but we have always remembered the Southwind favorably.

In reading past post (being new to the site), I also have a 1996 Pace Arrow Vision. Not sure of the style but it is 37', ford 460, tag axle, rear bed room (no slides) and the hall way is on the drivers side giving us a very large bathroom. The only problem I have had is a minor roof leak (fixed) and the cruise control works when it feels like it. Mine also was low milage 34,000 and I am the third owner. First owner bought it new and kept it for 10 years. Second owner bought it for $37,000 and financed it for 30 years. The finance company put his interest on the note at $50,000 and now he owed $87,000 for a 10 year old coach. Needless to say, he went under very quickly and I bought it as a bank repo for 1/3 of his original purchase price. All these figures were on the sale sheet. So I guess that I can fix alot of items for what I have in the coach.

Bringing back an old thread, but I'm the recent proud owner of a '95 35W. I think the first year of the Vision moniker was '96 but I'm told they were arguably the same coach. Yes?
