2001 revolution model B 36' Bedroom slide won't operate and can't find fuse. Operating panel is on bedroom wall. Control Panel is in 110 cord compartment. Trying to trace wiring is not an option. Checked fuses under bed not there. Checked fuses L/front ext compt., not there. Checked fuses by batteries r/ rear area. If anybody knows the location I would appreciate a note. Thanks

Have the "Power Gear"system on my 2004 Fleetwood Excursion.
Have found the electrical connector at the relay control panel to be an ongoing source of trouble.Grab ends of electrical connector and pull down, then reseat the connector.Found this helps restore operation most of times. The fuse is located on the relay control panel. As last resort during trouble-shooting swap electrical connectors between relay control panels(three slides, three relay control panels),this will prove out relay control panel faults. Each control panel has an one"Open"and one"Close"relay on it. Hope this has been of some help to you. |

Here is one response from a member of the Revolution Owners Group:
"On my 2002 there is a 25A fuse for the rear slide in the block of fuses located in the small compartment under the driver's side window. On the fuse block, directly below it, was another 25A fuse for the front slide. That said, I had the problem at one point too and for some reason I remember struggling to resolve it - I eventfully did, but just don't remember how. I just went out to our rig an opened up the compartment under the bed, which requires lifting the bed up and removing a board, in hope that looking in there would jog my memory, but it didn't. Within this compartment is the slide motor and he can use a voltmeter to see if the motor is getting any power when he uses the switch. As a point of comparison he can measure the voltage across the front slide motor, which is in the storage compartment under the slide. Another thing he could do is see if there is power to the switch. Hope this helps and wish him luck. R1chy" Perhaps it helps, Good luck Jack Myton 2007 REV LE Revolution Owners Group, Moderator |

douggeo - Any luck? I'm not sure where the relay would be, but I've had a couple relays fail recently in my 2002, so you might want to try swapping it out.

We need to get a separate discussion started on just the location of these "mystery" slide fuses for each model/year...seems to be a constant problem...people need to post where they found these fuses.

Both of my relay's are in the bedroom behind the circuit box or fuse box. It is a chore to get to them, but I have to remove the panel that holds the circuit box, and deal with the mass of wires, both 110v and 12v wires.
There are fuses back there for the relay's but they are the ceremic fuse for each relay. Before the ceremic relay's are resetable fuse link that will reset by itself. My problem was the connection needed to be resoldered again. After that, my trouble was over. But, it took a long time to find the trouble, as usually it was by accident.
