Can you say "thousands" of motorhomes!

Holy Moley, never seen so many in one place. Even dwarfs out Brooksville, FL. They say 5,000 motorhomes.

We're in lot "M" right off of route 29, in the generator section. Look for the US flag on the stern, we'll be here.

Tomorrow we'll be getting out early to go and visit the vendor exhibits.

I have alfready seen 1 iRV2 sticker and I met up with "RonP".

The Destination America Blue Ox Team appoears to be one of the largest vendors here and they have brought what looks like a trailer full of stuff and support equipment to service all the hitches here at the Convention.

I met Bob Russo today you know he goes by the handle of "Bob Russo" any way he and his lovely wife Adeline came over today and spent a number of hours visiting. While they were here they were caught up in all the unusual festivities that were going on around here.

It seems that the ETs and the UFO they have been piloting that we have been seeing lately if only fleetingly in campgrounds across America have finally landed here at the Lowes Motor Speedway and began mingling with Earthlings. A question and hidden plea for help came to me; where are Knox and Goodspeed when we needed them the most!

Apparently after all the dust died down and we were able to see the sun again an apparition in the form of a vehicle congealed into something unearthly real yet it defied all reasoning and identification. "First Contact!"

People from all over the campground came to this place as if drawn by magnetism. Equipped with a small invitation card that asked them to be here at 5:00pm also gave proof of this conspiracy. As if someone gave the command the Earthlings all lined up in a neat line and more unsuspecting people willingly joined in. And so the Alien plan began to unfold in our midst.....

In my professional observation regarding this activity the best thing about this "first contact" was the food. Apparently the ETs hired a caterer and well over 200 people were served either a Chicago or a Carolina style hot dog, home made - peanut oil fried chips and a Coke beverage.

Today, 2 creatures attired in long robes with rune like markings on their chest plates were observed in the vicinity of a rather strange looking motorhome. The apparently disguised vehicle was parked in a spot designated as -- UFO parking with an F377775 FMCA number in the window?

Incredibly people passed by the UFO and no one was irreversible harmed by cosmic radiation and only smiles were observed coming from the recipients of this good will gesture. The questions came fast and furiously from the crowd, who's giving the party, what's a UFO, who are the ETs? These were more questions than could be answered by this humble individual let me assure you.

By the time I came around to consuming my 3rd Chile dog, I was ready to have a seat and take it easy. All this work was really taking a toll on my belt-line as I popped open another diet coke.

So close but yet - so far. Not very many people noticed anything out of place or paranormal about the event that they were memorized into attending however the only abnormal thing that was immediately noticeable was the rush of people fleeing to their motorhomes with the booty they had been given from the cosmic caterer.

The cries from the crowd at times was deafening, is it a hybrid, is it a new ecofuel vehicle, is it a front engine diesel, is it a new type rear diesel pusher all of these questions were fielded and more but the pleas feel on deaf ears. The powers that be had none of the answers to these questions but they have promised that all will be revealed within the next couple of weeks from today at T minus 15 days and counting!

Stay tuned for a very important message from you know who and this message will be delivered here hopefully by me at the appointed time.

The Truth is Out There! .... and it's going to be revealed here in a short period of time.

DriVer,
It was great to meet you, Collene, Ed and of course Roxy. Thanks for the hospitality. It's nice to be able to put a face to the names here on the forum.

Unfortunately there was one beauty that just wouldn't reveal it's name. Guess I'll have to keep checking in with this forum.

There was a Freightliner RDP here that was flooded, shorted out, and had to get flat bedded out of here. The mud is finally starting to dry up and no rain is expected. We should be able to make it out of the property w/o any problems in the morning. Smile

Bob, we spent a lot of time with Tom Partner and his wife, they sure are nice people, he said that two of there folks at Howard had their cars flooded up to the windows. They just managed to get their MH's moved out of the flood before it was too late. Water was up to one of their knees. He said that a Prevost was flooded past the living floor!!! 5 inches of rain in I think 2 hrs.
We were in JJ lot and it was VERY muddy, but everyone dealt with it ok. Except for one poor soul who got his car stuck and was pushing it himself and had a heart attack. That was sad.
We do not know who this was.
We spent 99 % of our time with Travel Supreme and the Howard RV folks. Between rain, mud and heat conditions made it difficult to do much venturing past our intended things to get done.
This was our 4th national rally so we were very familiar with things that go on. We did not have access to the internet.
Met a bunch of nice people around us and they are all going to check out IRV2.

Colette, Tom is a real nice guy, he's become the finance officer at Howard sort of by "default" as that person left the dealership...He is very knowledgeable and a "go to" guy.
I spoke with my salesperson yesterday and she was telling me that sales were waaay off this year at the FMCA.

You better be careful snooping around all those new Travel Supremes, that's how that "bug" bites you!!

If you're looking for a good sales AND service dealer you'll not go wrong with Howard.
