No. 76: Charlotte/Concord

Lowe's Motor Speedway hosts several large NASCAR races each year, but motorhomes will be the main attractions — and FMCA members the drivers — during the association's 76th International Convention. The Speedway is located in Concord, N.C., a few miles north of Charlotte.

Family Motor Coach Association is pleased to announce the dates for FMCA’s 76th International Convention to be held at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. The dates for this event will be August 14, 15, 16, & 17, 2006, with parking days beginning Saturday, August 12, 2006.

FMCA members will be treated to true Southern hospitality as they converge upon Charlotte, “the New Accent of the South.” Charlotte is home to exquisite dining, irresistible shopping, and intriguing history. Did we also mention racing? Lowe's Motor Speedway is host to many NASCAR events, including the Coca-Cola 600, Charlotte 300, Carquest Auto Parts 300, and the Infineon 200 – NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series.

Family Motor Coach Association is an international organization for people who own and enjoy the recreational use of motorized, self-contained recreation vehicles known as motorhomes. The organization’s national office is located in Cincinnati, Ohio, and can be reached toll-free by calling 1-800-543-3622. FMCA is the foremost association dedicated to the promotion of the motorhome lifestyle.
We look forward to seeing you at FMCA’s 76th International Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina!

Here is the list of seminars that will be given at the International Rally:

Darn! Nobody claimed the "Windshirt" .... But we did serve hot dogs, chips and soda to about 200 people in lot M at the UFO parking! Maybe the next time.

Look for me again in Hershey, PA at the Giant Center.
