Been looking for quite a while for our next RV. Just signed on trading our 04 Alpenlite 5th in on a 07 Phaeton 36QSH. Looking forward to the PDI tomorrow. Any suggestions on the PDI? My daughter will be tapeing the whole thing.

Congrats on your purchase.
Regarding your PDI...work every system a few times. Drive the unit a few miles and be sure it handles as you would expect. Look over the surface in sunlight and not in a bay if you can. Be sure that they explain in detail how to work and maintain each component and get the owners manuals for the coach.

good luck!

JD,

Congratulations on your new coach. Party

Take your time and make sure you understand where everything is and how works. My PDI was very short and then they handed me a big bunch of keys. On the way the home I found out I didn't know what half of them fit. Follow wagon217's advice.

Enjoy your coach. In all your travels may the road be smooth and the wind at your back. Smile

Thanks guys. I have already driven the coach and it drives great. I have been on it, under it, and in it as much as I can. Oh, I did see a large, and I mean large, key ring. I will try to find out what each goes to. Will check out each system as much as possible, maybe not the heat as it might not be able to heat the thing anymore in the heat we have had lately.

From experience. Left Lazy Days about 4PM headed north on I-75. Nice people passing the coach kept pointing at something. Eeeek The side of the road on I-75 that time of day is not fun. No No The fuse compartment door in front of the driver's side front wheel was standing open. I shut it but didn't know how to lock it since it takes one of those coke machine looking keys. Had to repeat the process a few miles further down the road. I was about to try and lock it with screwdriver when DW gave me another handful of keys to try. They gave us two of all the keys, except that one and I put it on her key ring. Stopped for fuel later that evening and managed to use the wrong key and broke it off when trying to lock the door. Fortunately it was unlocked. Figure them out before dark. Big Grin
