My, it has been quiet on this forum lately. Matter of fact, it's been quiet on lots of the forums. Well, we've been quietly getting the rig ready for another adventure. Kicked the tires, checked the batteries, changed the oil and as a Workhorse owner, ordered a couple of fuel filters from a kind gentleman who frequents IRV2. Want to be prepared, don't you know!
The only probelm is that between me and the wife, we havn't quite decided where to go. The west or the east. I want to head to Alaska, but the price of gas. Eeeek The other choice is the Canadian maritimes or downeast Maine as a shorter trip. Thinking about just heading on up to Banff and if the the wind is heading in the right direction and we feel so moved....head on up to Dawson Creek. The heck with gas! One only lives once. Oh, by the way, we applied for our passports and would you believe, it only took two weeks to get them. Amazing!

OH, and I just spoke to my son who lives in Rapid City, and the entire area is getting a blizzard. I-90 is closed from Wall out into Wyoming. Hope those who treked to that area in their rigs to get an early start on their northern adventures are weathering the storm OK.

Bob

I finally got out as well. It was good to see what lights need to be repaired and to make sure everything is working correctly. It is raining but the kids are still enjoying it, and I missed beng in the rig as well. Now if I can get a little sun! Sunny

Lenny,

As Bob Barker on the Price is Right always said, "Come On Down"! The little afternoon shower is over and it's another beautiful sunny 75 degree day. Don't come in August. It should be against the law to be here in August. That's when "only mad dogs and Englishmen go out in the noonday sun".
