A very informative post Joe-K "Birth of a Phaeton"

We're heading to the Pittsburgh RV show Saturday to check out all the new rigs. We're especially excited to see the Allegro Bus that will be there.

It's not a 43 but rather a 42QRP, but it's the color scheme that Shelly picked out for the rig. I'm Really, REALLY anxious to see the decor , fabric , carpet , and wood , but while I'm there, I might check out a couple things like the chassis, engine, and a couple other boring items

Joe-K , I am going to the dealer today and will check out the 08 Allegro Bus 43 QRP , this one has all the bells & whistles.

You boys be sure and take some pictures for us with inquiring minds....

The Pittsburgh RV show was a bit disappointing as far as the number of rigs displayed at the show, but the one I wanted to see was displayed front and center. Since the 43QRP is such a hot floorplan right now, dealers are having a tough time getting them so we had to look at a 42 QRP rig, but it was a great stand in.

Brian and Randy from Clems Trailer Sales were both at the show and came over to greet the iRV2 Group. Brian was kind enough to stash a couple copies of the Roughing it Smoothly magaine featuring an article on the 43QRP. I got an extra copy of the magazine and will be sticking it in the mail to another of the interested iRV2 members

We enjoyed looking in all the compartment and pretty throughly checking out the rig. Now after spending so much time in the 42, we're really anxious to get our 43QRP.

Pretty work Joe.... my lady friend and I may take a rendezvous up towards Red Bay here in a month or so....

Maybe we'd be lucky enough to see the Joe-K mobile in production.

From what I hear, the 43's are being sold as fast as they can be built. Dealer inventory orders are in some cases being pushed back for customer orders.

I know there's a couple pictures recently posted of a rig that just was sold by Bankston motorhomes down South. That's the only 1 I know of in inventory right now. Lazydays has sold the 2 they got within a couple days of hitting their lot.

Clem's does have one on order though for stock, but I don't know a date it will be in yet.

I wish it was the picture of mine, but this 43QRP was just bought by someone else. They are hard to find in stock, but this lucky owner got one....Their pictures are in the iRV2 photo gallery, so maybe they'll post soon their comments on the rig







It's a different color scheme than we chose, however a beautiful rig.

Very pretty, except I'd opt for the booth dinette as Joe did...

With three kids and two adults I'll need all that space....
