Hello everyone,
I just bought a 2004 Allegro 31DA on a Workhorse chassis. It seems like a very good MH. I would like any info good or bad about this MH or how to improve it, thanks...

Congratulations on the Allegro!

Tiffin makes great rigs and has a fantastic reputation for supporting their owners so I'm sure you'll be happy with the unit.

As far as improvements, there's a whole list of upgrades available.

You can start with a SeeLevel digital tank monitor system, or perhaps a central vacuum for making the cleanup easier.

Welcome to the Tiffin Forum and IRV2!

Banks products are great, but I am unsure if there is anything that will increase your mileage that will outweigh the original investment! There is no magic solution to more MPG then driveing at a speed where the RPM's are kept at their efficient level. There are products that will give you more HP though, but with that will also come more fuel consumption.

As far as handleing goes, Henderson and supersteer have some great products that will help.

Frank, I agree with note above: Banks is a very costly upgrade if you don't keep her long enough to recoup the cost invested. More pressing concern for me was a surge guard for elec. system; Saft-T-plus for steering wander / tire blowout control. LCD display on instrument panel, ample service of fluids, etc.
Your driving habits will get you bye on gas just fine. You have a powerful combo in engine / Allison tranny. Rem: Tire air pressure should be based upon your 4-corner weights.
