That was good information Paul. As Mark mentioned, rigs are getting heavier with 4 slides becoming the norm and full tile throughout the coaches. I know Tiffin normally does weigh their coaches (as on the tour, you can watch it being done), but I don't know if they include a paper with the rig listing the weight. I know I havn't run across any weight ticket in our paperwork yet that listed individual axle weights, but I havn't searched through all the binders either yet. Maybe someone else can chime in if they received a weight ticket with their coach. The only weight information listed is the tag I posted in this thread upfront, but it does not list individual axle weight.
All the manufacturers should weigh the completed rig, but I'm not sure if they do or not. Personally, I was glad to see Tiffin do away with the 14,600 front axle in 2008 and use a 16,600 front end as it shows they do respond to changing requirements. I'm assuming that the 2009 and beyond Zephyr's will continue to use the 16,600 axle and 315/80 tires so they should have plenty of front end axle capacity in the future.
